As MoT executive it is important to understand leadership theories, styles, traits and influences. Evolution of leadership is covered and older theories and styles that are not appropriate anymore are weeded out. Leadership transition, especially towards 4IR, is defined and parameters are identified which can be used in an audit. Biomimicry is used to learn from nature and to expose you to a new spectrum of leadership where every-one is a leader to where no-one is a leader. The notions of collective leadership, distributed leadership and connected leadership are introduced. A thought model for nature-inspired leadership is presented and applied to the company. Lastly the use of AI in leadership is considered.
