By registering for this event, the registering company or individual is subject to the following Terms and Conditions.

Delegate Substitutions

Delegate substitutions are welcome at any time. Please notify TechnoScene via e-mail of any changes in attendance.

Delegate Cancellations

All delegate cancellations must be received via email and are subject to the following conditions:

  • For any cancellations received 7 days before the date of the of start of the event, TechnoScene will issue a voucher for the value paid to be used for up to one year for another “Around the Fire” event.
  • For any cancellations received less than 7 days before the date of the event, the full fee will be payable and no refunds or credit vouchers will be given.
  • If a registered delegate does not cancel and fails to attend the event, no refund or voucher will be issued.

TechnoScene Cancellation, Postponement and Rescheduling Terms

  • In the event that TechnoScene cancels an event, delegate payments at the date of cancellation will be credited by means of a voucher for a future “Around the Fire” event to be used within one year of the cancellation date.
  • In the event that TechnoScene postpones an event, delegate payments at the postponement date will be credited towards the rescheduled date. If the delegate is unable to attend the rescheduled event, the delegate will receive a credit voucher representing payments made towards a future “Around the Fire” event, to be used within one year of the postponement date.
  • TechnoScene shall assume no liability whatsoever if the event is cancelled, rescheduled or postponed.

Reasons for Cancellation, Postponement and Rescheduling by TechnoScene

  • Reasons for cancellation, postponement and rescheduling by TechnoScene may include, but not be limited to, Internet connectivity problems, extreme weather in the case of a physical event or other emergency or act of God.
  • Please note that the facilitator and topics are confirmed at the time of announcing an event, however, circumstances beyond the control of TechnoScene may necessitate substitutions, alterations or cancellations of the facilitator and/or topics. As such, TechnoScene reserves the right to alter the advertised facilitator and/or topics if necessary.
